Staff Research Scientist, Cloud Architect, Strategist for Digital Health at IBM
Dr. Bo Wen is a prominent Cloud Architect and Science Lead for the Digital Health Squad within the IBM Accelerated Discovery Platform. He has been with IBM since 2016, initially contributing to the Healthcare and Life Sciences department, where he played a significant role in various projects involving wearables and IoT technologies. From 2018 to 2020, he managed the operations of IBM’s Home Health Lab and has been instrumental in developing the IBM Health Guardian platform, which supports multiple digital health research initiatives.
His expertise spans generative AI, cloud architecture, data orchestration, and large-scale scientific project management. Dr. Wen has also focused on digital biomarkers and has chaired the patent disclosure review committee for emerging technologies in digital health. His academic background includes a Ph.D. in Physics from the City University of New York, where he specialized in low-temperature quantum physics.
