Bo Begole

Bo Begole is the Director of AMD Research at Advanced Micro Devices (AMD). He is recognized as an inventor in several advanced technology fields, including machine learning, streaming media, and virtual/augmented reality. His expertise encompasses developing architectures for high-performance computing, notably contributing to the Frontier and El Capitan supercomputers, which are among the fastest in the world.23

Begole holds a PhD in computer science from Virginia Tech, where he has also served on the advisory board.4 His professional background includes various leadership roles in technology companies, including a position as Senior Engineering Manager at Apple prior to joining AMD.
