Blake Ferm

Blake Ferm is a seasoned frontend developer with over a decade of experience, having worked at renowned ad agencies like Firstborn, JWT, and McGarryBowen, creating digital content for clients such as American Express, Quicken Loans, Pepsi, United Airlines, Google, Subway, and J&J.

Seven years ago, Blake started exploring WordPress and began building websites as a side project, sparking his passion for web development. This led him to enroll in a software engineering immersive bootcamp in January 2020, where he honed his skills in managing state and using various tools.

Blake holds a background in Computer Arts/New Media from the Academy of Art University, Computer Software Engineering from Fullstack Academy, and an Associate's degree in Commercial/Fine Arts from the Connecticut Institute of Art.

Currently, Blake serves as a Sr. Interactive Developer at Self-Employed, combining his diverse experiences to create engaging apps and experiences. Previously, he held roles at mcgarrybowen, Huge, JWT, Publicis, PushPoint, Firstborn Multimedia, MTV Networks, and various other renowned organizations.
