Blaise Bayuo is a seasoned entrepreneur with experience in building and scaling global software startups. With expertise in e-commerce and blockchain, Blaise has co-founded startups in various verticals, one of which he successfully exited. As an advocate for blockchain's disruptive capabilities beyond cryptocurrencies, he applies his expertise in promoting decentralized blockchain applications to affect lives sustainably. Blaise is also an accomplished researcher in social innovation, with several publications and working papers to his name.
Blaise studied Software Development and Entrepreneurship at Meltwater Entrepreneurial School of Technology, a Bachelor's Degree in Development planning at Kwame Nkrumah' University of Science and Technology, Kumasi, and an MSc in Innovation and Spatial Dynamics, Innovation, and Economic Growth at Lund University.
Currently, he is the Policy Lead, Technology for Development at the Tony Blair Institute for Global Change. In the past, he co-founded/directed Sesacash, advised YomYom Services, and co-founded/CEO of RetailTower.com. Blaise was also an EIT at MEST, and an Assisting Planning Officer (Intern) at Nadowli District Assembly.
