Blair Salter is an accomplished collaborative pianist and vocal coach with a diverse background and extensive experience in the music industry. She studied Piano Performance at the Royal Conservatory of Music and completed a DMA in Collaborative Piano at the University of Michigan. Blair also holds an MMus in Master of Music, Collaborative Piano and a BMus, Bachelor of Music, Honours Piano Performance from The University of Western Ontario.

Throughout her career, Blair has held numerous positions including Vocal Coach at Sewanee WinterFest Opera Intensive, Repetiteur at Opera Colorado, and Music Staff at Houston Grand Opera. She has also worked as a Pianist at Wolf Trap Opera at Wolf Trap Foundation for the Performing Arts and as a Studio Pianist/Coach at Houston Grand Opera.

Blair has lent her expertise to many organizations, including serving as Music Director at Metro Youth Opera, Wagner Institute Fellow at Miami Music Festival, and as a Guest Coach for studio artists at Michigan Opera Theatre. She has also taught piano at the Niagara Symphony Summer Music Camp and served as Assistant Director of Summer Music Camp at Niagara Symphony.

Currently, Blair is a Music Staff at The Santa Fe Opera. With her wealth of knowledge in collaborative piano and vocal coaching, Blair has made significant contributions to the music industry.
