I'm working with an excellent team to bring North Dakota's first coding bootcamp to life. Our immersive 20-week program focuses on teach students the ins and outs of full stack web engineering from a professional context, preparing them for employment as a junior software developer. We work directly with our employer network to make sure that our students are connected and supported as they begin their job search.

Clifton Labs is continually seeking partners, projects, and engineers (both in Fargo and Cincinnati). We are focused on custom software and hardware engineering, specifically in the domains of web applications, business operations software, mobile, and embedded devices. If you have a business that needs streamlined, custom, and *high quality* web-based workflow software, let's talk.

We have several areas of expertise:
   * We live and breathe Linux. From cloud management, to network security, down to embedded devices. 
   * For new web applications, our stack of choice is Ruby on Rails for rapid development.
   * We manage our own cloud stack to provide inexpensive managed hosting for our customers. We deploy with capistrano, provision with Chef, and use git (and gitlab) for development.
   * We also design and layout hardware, embedded software, and connected devices. With our new partnership, we also have access to manufacturing capabilities.
   * We're growing into mobile app development as it suites the needs of our clients (iOS, Android).
   * One of our favorite things to do is take a project that a design agency or freelance designer has created, and turn it into reality using best practices and quality software development.

Systems modeling, verification, validation, testing. Embedded Ada and Matlab Simulink. After my coop terms I continued part-time as a contractor.

Ada is fun, once you get it to compile.
