Björn Walse

Björn Walse is an experienced executive with a strong focus on the life sciences sector. He co-founded two drug discovery companies, SARomics Biostructures and Merozyne Therapeutics, where he worked as CEO and VP of Drug Discovery, respectively. Walse is an accomplished expert in R&D management, structural biology, and structure-based drug design. In addition to his Ph.D. in Physical Chemistry, he has studied Molecular Biophysics and Chemical Engineering at Lund University. Walse has also held positions as Director of Sales & Marketing at SARomics Biostructures AB, Head of Structural Chemistry at Active Biotech Research AB, and Postdoctoral Fellow at the University of California, Berkeley.
