I joined Hilti Australia as their first dedicated internal Recruiter. I redesigned the recruitment process, developed strong relationships with universities and external partners and built Hilti’s employment brand in the Australian recruitment market.

My responsibilities encompassed recruitment activities for Management, Sales, Marketing and Engineering functions across Australia: Sourcing and selecting, research and talent pool development.

In this position I was in charge of client development, retained executive search assignments and market mapping projects as well as reviewing and streamlining recruitment processes.

I was recruited into this role to assist developing Worldwideworker (an Energy recruitment agency initially launched as a Job Board) into a one-stop solution provider for Oil & Gas and Energy recruitment. For the first two years, I looked after Client Development as well as Recruitment Assignments for senior and technically difficult positions across the globe. My clients included Shell, BP, Saudi Aramco, Woodside, Santos, ENI, Addax Petroleum and Maersk amongst many others and I traveled extensively to Aberdeen, Copenhagen, Geneva, Lyon, Perth and Houston. 

I was subsequently promoted into the role of Team Leader Executive Search to hire, manage, motivate and train a team of Executive Search Consultants. I managed retained Executive Search assignments as well as permanent recruitment projects across the globe and worked closely with an external IT development team to oversee the implementation of a new candidate management tool across 7 offices worldwide..

Team Leader Executive Search

Longing for something bigger and greater, I took the plunge and moved to London for an overseas adventure. I became the first in-house Researcher for Futurestep, Korn Ferry's Middle Management Division.
I acted as the Regional Project Manager for a new Applicant Tracking System and was in charge of local and pan-European executive search assignments across ICT, Life Sciences, Industrial and FMCG sectors.

My very first project was to source a Senior Director for ESA (European Space Agency) in their HQ's in France. It was challenging and completely out of my depth but with a great end result and followed by many more successful placements across ICT, life sciences, industrial and FMCG industries.
