Bill Woolsey: Founder & President of FiveTwo
Bill Woolsey is the Founder and President of FiveTwo, a network that helps Christians use entrepreneurship to create ministries and businesses that make an eternal difference in communities.1234567 He launched FiveTwo in 2009 after serving as the founding and senior pastor of CrossPoint Community Church for 18 years.1
Prior to founding FiveTwo, Woolsey worked as a pastor in the Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod since 1987.1 He has held positions such as Outreach & Executive Pastor and Outreach & Youth Pastor at St. Paul's Lutheran Church.1 Woolsey has a Bachelor of Arts in Pre-seminary from Concordia University Texas and a Master of Divinity in Pastoral Ministry from Concordia Seminary.1
FiveTwo's name and mission originate from the story of Jesus feeding the 5,000 with 5 loaves and 2 fish in Mark 6.2 Woolsey believes that everything needed to reach a community is already present in that community, and FiveTwo aims to activate churches and faith-based ventures to bring the church outside the church walls so more people meet Jesus where they live.2
Under Woolsey's leadership, FiveTwo provides coaching, strategic planning, and other services to help churches and nonprofits clarify their calling, equip their organizations to live out that calling, and activate growth.23 He has invested decades of experience in starting and leading ministries to serve the underserved.8
