Dr. Bill Washburn, a beloved figure, passed away in 2014 after battling multiple myeloma and cardiac amyloidosis.
Having earned a Ph.D. and Masters degree from Stanford University in Public Policy and Ethics, Bill spent over 20 years in Silicon Valley and London as a trust evangelist and strategist.
His tenure culminated in him being the Founding Executive Director of the Berkeley Mobile International Collaborative in California.
Beyond his professional life, Bill was a father of 3, a literature enthusiast, music lover, a practitioner of dance meditation, and an avid gardener.
Despite his health challenges, he approached life with courage, strength, grace, and humor, and even authored a poetry book 'Becoming William'.
At the time of his passing, he resided in Sonoma county with his partner Anna Corba, whom he had been with for nine years.
