Bill Viqueira

Bill Viqueira is a seasoned business executive with extensive experience in corporate finance, mergers and acquisitions, and strategic planning. He holds an economics degree and a master's degree in political economy from The Johns Hopkins University.

Throughout his career, Viqueira has held various leadership positions, serving as CFO and treasurer for NJ TRANSIT, the third-largest transportation agency in the US with nearly $4 billion in budget. He has also worked as an investment banker for ten years and spent seven years with Lucent Technologies as senior vice president of corporate development and treasurer.

Beyond his corporate experience, Viqueira is also a former franchise restaurant owner and managing director of Golden Seeds Fund LP. He has demonstrated a strong ability to build teams, develop business strategies, establish internal processes and increase shareholder value.

As SVP, CFO, and Treasurer at NJ TRANSIT, Viqueira oversees the financial operations of one of the busiest public transportation systems in New Jersey, responsible for 926,000 daily trips across bus, rail, and light rail services.
