Bill Sams is a seasoned professional with 25 years of experience in executive management roles in Silicon Valley. Currently, he is actively involved in bridging the gap between technology and education, particularly through Interactive Digital Technology (IDT) focusing on the development of computer games. Bill also serves as a Commission member of eTech Ohio, a state-level commission dedicated to creating a vision and strategy for integrating technology into education in Ohio. He holds the position of Program Director for the Dept of Labor WIRED Initiative, overseeing a $5 million grant for workforce development in the Appalachian Ohio region, specifically for IDT. This initiative includes setting up 3 university Cyber Centers and 20 to 30 Cyber Clubs in various educational institutions.
