Bill Kern is a financial advisor with over a decade of experience in the industry. Prior to joining Citizens Wealth Management, he had worked at several financial firms, teaching personal finance to cadets and advising clients on their financial goals.

Kern holds a degree in Economics from Penn State University, as well as Master's degrees in National Security and Strategic Studies from the Naval War College and in Personal Financial Planning from Kansas State University. He served for 20 years in the US Navy as a Naval Flight Officer, flying over 40 combat missions in Iraq and Afghanistan.

Kern's passion for financial planning stems from his own personal experience of losing his father at a young age and the resulting financial devastation it caused his family. He wants to ensure his clients can withstand any financial turbulence and achieve their desired lifestyle. He believes in tailoring strategies to each client's unique financial situation and takes the time to understand their goals, risk tolerance, and time horizon.

Kern resides in Venetia, PA with his wife and three sons. In his spare time, he is passionate about serving others and enjoys partnering with them through life’s journey.
