ForMotiv's Behavioral Data Science platform runs real-time machine learning models on tens of thousands of digital behavioral data points captured during the digital application process to instantly and accurately predict the intent of the end user. ForMotiv identifies high-risk users, potential cases of fraud/non-disclosure, window shoppers, high-intent buyers, frustrated/confused users, and more during the application process, meaning carriers can take action during the user journey to create personalized user experiences.

Honest Buildings provides SaaS for some of the largest Commercial Real Estate owners in the world, including WeWork, Brookfield, Hines and Oxford.  Bill led all things technical for Honest Buildings, overseeing software development, SaaS operations and internal IT.  Sold to Procore in 2019.

Infragistics provides data visualization software tools and services that help our customers develop great applications running anywhere: from cloud to web to PCs to Macs to anything mobile.  Bill is responsible for all things technical at Infragistics.  He leads the Product Development team, managing the engineering process from User Experience Design to Software Engineering to Quality Assurance to real-time delivery ("DevOps") across our cloud, server, desktop and mobile product lines.  Bill is also responsible for technical operations, including internal systems and customer facing e-commerce websites.  While at Infragistics, he introduced the team to: large scale agile development, efficient and effective cross-platform test automation,and infrastructure as a service.

As consulting CTO, Bill developed the architecture and led the research, design and development efforts for the Shared Learning Collaborative.  The SLC is a "big data" system that allows for the secure federation of student data across all 50 states, as envisioned by the Council of Chief State School Officers.  It is provided as Software as a Service and consumed by state and local governments across the country.  This technology is available as open source at github: https://github.com/inbloom.

Wireless Generation

Bill built the team and technology for LMK's mobile apps (iOS and Android), website and services.  The LMK app was the #3 news app on iTunes.  Deployed in the cloud on Amazon Web Services, the system handled upwards of 1M requests per hour and survived two major AWS outages with zero downtime.

Bill led register.com's engineering team and was responsible for their retail website, internal ecommerce plumbing and wholesale SAAS platform.  The register platform serves millions of customers from individuals to large telcos and federates the services of several hundred partners and affiliates.
