Bill Glass is the Chief Executive Officer of Connexity, a privately held Los Angeles-based operator of shopping websites including Shopzilla.com.4 As CEO, he is responsible for steering business strategy, evangelizing company culture, ensuring business capitalization, and providing day-to-day oversight of the company's operations.12
Glass joined Connexity (then Shopzilla) in 2004 and was part of the senior executive team that sold Shopzilla to E.W. Scripps Company in 2005. He was appointed President in 2007 and led the company's continued success under Scripps' ownership.12 In 2011, Glass led the divestiture of Shopzilla/Connexity from Scripps in partnership with Symphony Technology Group, at which point he was promoted to CEO.12
Under Glass's leadership since 2011, Connexity has transformed from a comparison shopping company to a leading technology and data-driven retail performance marketing company, executing several successful acquisitions and evolving its business model.12 In September 2021, Connexity was acquired by Taboola for $800 million.5
Prior to joining Connexity, Glass held executive-level product management roles at Vivendi Universal's Internet Division and a San Francisco-based online entertainment startup. Earlier in his career, he spent four years in technology project management and operations at Electronic Data Systems.1
