Bill Farrell

Bill Farrell is a multi-faceted individual who wears various hats in the healthcare industry. He is someone who is focused on balance, future-forward thinking, and innovation. Being an engineer, an entrepreneur, an innovator, an artist, and a strategy officer, he is passionate about data, details, and dollars, but he is most gratified by removing constraints and pushing the boundaries for long-term success and sustainability.

Farrell studied at prestigious institutions such as the University of St. Thomas, Cal Poly Pomona, Viterbo University, Kaiser Institute, University of Minnesota, and the University of Pennsylvania - The Wharton School, where he obtained masters, graduate and executive development programs, and degrees in leadership and engineering.

As the Chief Business & Strategy Officer at Gundersen Health System, Farrell leads innovation and strategy initiatives, solidifying the organizational commitment to a comprehensive digital user experience, understanding customer habits, and meeting their needs for better health outcomes. He is also involved in other board positions, and he previously founded and held leadership positions at various companies, such as Farrell Ventures, FreshRealm, Vizsy, and Medtronic. Additionally, Farrell was a former National Guard at U.S. Army, enhancing his leadership and team management capabilities.
