Bill Dowzer

Bill Dowzer is a strategic leader and Principal at the Australian Architectural practice BVN with specialized expertise in briefing and designing new workplace and education environments.

With an architectural background in BArch(Hons) BApSc(Arch) from the University of Newcastle, Bill has been instrumental in designing and overseeing various award-winning projects across public, educational, cultural, and commercial sectors.

His focus on masterplanning, strategic direction, and user consultation has led to the development of sustainable and people-focused design strategies within workplace and education environments.

Currently, Bill is engaged in creating new business opportunities and conducting research to support the cultural aspirations of clients, particularly in coworking and dynamic workplace settings in collaboration with organizations like Liquidspace, Westfield, and GPT.

Aside from his role at BVN, Bill has also shared his knowledge and experience through lecturing at the University of Newcastle, and tutoring at The University of Sydney and The University of New South Wales.

Having served as the Studio Director for BVN Sydney Office and establishing the BVN Melbourne Studio, Bill Dowzer showcases a rich background in architectural leadership and innovative design solutions.
