Bill Coughran

Bill Coughran is a renowned technologist with over two decades of experience in computer science, specializing in large-scale computing and networking systems.

He holds a Ph.D. in Computer Science and an M.S. in Computer Science from Stanford University, as well as a BS with honors in Mathematics and an M.S. in Mathematics from the California Institute of Technology.

Bill has a strong background in product development and general management, with a focus on creating and guiding the development of distributed systems, IP security projects, modeling, formal verification methods, and network software.

He has an extensive career history, including being the Former Senior Vice President of Engineering at Google and Former Interim CEO, VP of Engineering, Board Member, and Founder at Entrisphere, among various other leadership roles at prominent organizations.

Currently, Bill Coughran serves as a Founder's Coach and Partner at Sequoia Capital and contributes as an investor and coach for developing companies.
