Bill Blackford

Bill Blackford is a global talent acquisition leader with over 16 years of experience in recruiting for growth organizations. He specializes in recruiting niche skills sets and building high-impact talent strategies to drive efficiencies and execution within demanding environments. His track record shows a proven success in putting teams in the best possible position to deliver high-performance results, while ensuring a top-notch candidate experience.

Blackford has worked for several leading organizations, including Merlin International, Frontpoint, and most recently as the Senior Director of Global Talent Acquisition at Ellucian. At Ellucian, he demonstrated his expertise in global talent delivery and recruiting operations optimization, among others. He also has experience in leading and coaching teams, executive search, talent branding, diversity and inclusion, and college/university recruiting.

The Virginia native is a BS graduate of the University of Mary Washington. He has honed his skills in high volume recruitment, talent analytics, ATS selection and implementation, behavioral interview training, and recruiter training and development, among others. His zeal has led him to be proactive in developing his professional capacity, constantly learning, and helping organizations to attract and retain the best talent.
