Bhavik Thakkar

Bhavik Thakkar is a physician, entrepreneur, and innovator with vast experience in the medical industry. He co-founded ZipDoc, a healthcare startup that connects patients with doctors, and is also the CEO of HappyDocs Innovation, a company that provides medical transcription and documentation services. Thakkar has also served on various committees and held positions such as Chairman of Performance Improvement Committee and Medical Director of Inpatient Health Services at AppleCare Medical Management. He has worked as an internal medicine hospitalist at Allina Health and AppleCare Medical Management and was also a resident physician in internal medicine at Hennepin County Medical Center. Thakkar has spoken at conferences such as Medecision Client Forum 2014 and is passionate about improving healthcare and using technology to make it more accessible.
