Bhaskar Roy is an experienced entrepreneur and leader with over 20 years of expertise in product innovation and market development.

Throughout his career, Bhaskar has been actively involved in both startup ventures like PlaceWare and Qik, as well as advising startups and leading key groups within established tech giants including Oracle, Microsoft, and HP.

Currently, Bhaskar is involved in revolutionizing business software integration at Workato, aiming to provide seamless connectivity for businesses of all sizes.

Before his tenure at Workato, Bhaskar served as Chief Product Officer at Playphone and played a crucial role in its acquisition by Gung Ho. He also contributed significantly as Founder and SVP of Products at Qik, later acquired by Skype under Microsoft.

During his time at Skype, Bhaskar led the development of Qik Products, focusing on enhancing asynchronous communications and mobile experiences within the Skype platform.

Bhaskar's educational background includes a Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Science obtained from BIT Mesra Student-Industry Relations Cell.

His rich professional journey encompasses various roles ranging from Chief of AI Products & Solutions to Chief Marketing Officer at Workato, and includes board memberships, advisory roles, and investments in companies like Playphone, Quibb, and MindMeld, Inc.

Prior to his recent positions, Bhaskar held key positions at renowned organizations such as Oracle Corporation, Placeware Inc. (acquired by Microsoft), Tandem Computers, and Tata Consultancy Services.
