Bhaskar Choubey

Bhaskar Choubey is a highly accomplished individual known for leading a research group specializing in the design of advanced CMOS circuits and MEMS devices. He has a particular interest in CMOS Image sensors and neuromorphic circuits, as well as large arrays of multi-sensors on a chip within the MEMS field. Bhaskar serves as the head of microelectronics intelligence at the Fraunhofer Institute of Microelectronics circuits and systems, focusing on AI systems. His educational background includes a Ph.D. from the University of Oxford and a Bachelor’s Degree from the National Institute of Technology Warangal. Bhaskar has held key positions such as Chair of Analogue Circuits and Image Sensors at Universität Siegen, Group Leader of the Microelectronics Intelligence Group at Fraunhofer IMS, Associate Professor at the University of Oxford, Lecturer at the University of Glasgow, Visiting Lecturer at North West University, Research Fellow at Somerville College, Oxford, and Scientist at Max Planck Institute of Brain Research in Frankfurt.
