Bharat Venugopal is an accomplished M&A and Corporate Finance leader with a strong focus in the Technology, Media, and Telecommunications (TMT) sector, complemented by extensive experience in broad industrials and renewables.

With over 12 years of experience in North America and Asia, Bharat has established himself as a highly analytical project quarterback, adept at leading cross-functional teams through intricate and high-value projects.

Throughout his career, Bharat has successfully managed M&A and financing transactions amounting to over $300 billion, showcasing his expertise in private and public company capital raises, buy-side and sell-side transactions, board-level strategic reviews, Merger of Equals deals, as well as corporate and project structuring including Joint Ventures (JVs), partnerships, Real Estate Investment Trusts (REITs), among others.

Bharat's educational background is equally impressive, with a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree with Distinction in Finance, Management & Strategy from Kellogg School of Management, as well as a Post Graduate Diploma in Management with a specialization in Finance from the prestigious Indian Institute of Management, Bangalore. Additionally, he also pursued an MBA as an Exchange Student at McGill University and holds a Bachelor of Engineering (BE) in Electrical Engineering from Delhi College of Engineering.

Currently, Bharat Venugopal holds the position of Executive Director in Technology M&A at Morgan Stanley, further solidifying his status as a top professional in the field. Prior to this role, he served as Vice President at Evercore and as Assistant Vice President in the TMT division at DBS Bank.
