As the Chairman and CEO of Affirmed Networks, he has led the company's growth and success in providing virtualized mobile networks to telecommunications providers worldwide. Prior to this, he served as a Senior Advisor at Charles River Ventures and held leadership roles at Sonus Networks, Cascade/Ascend/Lucent, and Cascade Communications.

With over 30 years of experience in the industry, Ahmed has a deep knowledge of network architecture, switching technologies, and digital signal processing. He earned his engineering degree from Carleton University and studied at Stanford University.
