Daniel Eidan

Daniel Eidan, an experienced advisor and solution architect, has dedicated his career to building technology solutions for the central banking community with a special focus on blockchain and CBDC. With an honours degree in Computer Science from the University of Toronto, Daniel began his career as a combat commander in the Israeli army before transitioning to software engineering and eventually becoming an educator and manager at a leading technical training school. Daniel also served as a committee member at the International Telecommunication Union and Standards Council of Canada, both of which heightened his expertise in the field of digital currencies. Before joining the Bank for International Settlements (BIS), he was a lead software engineer at R3 and a sales engineer at BrainStation. Daniel's wide-ranging experience across various sectors, along with his technical and leadership skills, equips him with the knowledge and ability to apply innovative solutions to achieve the goals of his clients.
