Nako Adodoadji

Nako Adodoadji, originally from Nairobi, Kenya, is a writer, director, producer, and actor who skillfully integrates her multicultural background into her creative endeavors. She is a third culture kid who adeptly navigates the complexities of multiple cultures, enriching her storytelling and collaboration process.

As a distinguished Orchard Project Episodic Lab Fellow and a Columbia University Playwriting MFA Program graduate, Nako's talent and dedication have garnered recognition. She was a semifinalist in The 2020 Script Lab Screenplay Contest for her TV pilot, The Breaking, showcasing her prowess in scriptwriting.

Nako Adodoadji's educational journey includes a Master of Fine Arts in Playwriting and Screenwriting from Columbia University in the City of New York, indicating her commitment to honing her craft. She also holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Acting (Theatre Arts) from The University of the Arts, underpinning her versatile skill set.

Throughout her career, Nako Adodoadji has collaborated with various prestigious organizations, serving in diverse roles. She has been involved as a Writer in Theatre, Television, Film & Digital at Various Productions and Companies, exhibiting her flexibility and creativity across different mediums.

In her previous roles, Nako has contributed significantly to the industry, having worked as a Producer, Director, Script Writer, and Interactive Fiction Writer. Her vast experience includes being a Script Consultant & Acting Coach, a Founder and Artistic Producer, and an Assistant Director. Additionally, she has excelled as a Professional Actor in Theatre, Commercials, and Industrials, showcasing her multifaceted talent.
