Sean Hocking is a multi-faceted professional with over 25 years of experience in legal publishing, online development, music distribution, and project management. He started his career as a salesperson for the Aus Law Book Company Bookshop before managing and selling for Point of Law, an indie legal bookseller in Sydney. Later, he moved to London to work as a Sales Manager for Legalease (UK), after which he returned to Sydney and launched Australia's first independent legal news and book-selling website called "Excata." He then worked for Lexis Nexis until a life-changing experience on 9/11 made him realize that life was too short.

Hocking's diverse background ranges from legal publishing to music distribution, and everything in between. He is known for his work in online development, content management, and distribution, as well as editorial and content management, writing, and the global cannabis and hemp market. He has also worked for London lit publisher, Chatto & Windus, where he had the chance to meet distinguished individuals like Iris Murdoch, Antonia Byatt, and Ian McKewan.

Apart from his professional career, Hocking has also launched Law Librarians News and Practice Source.com and currently publishes Cannabis Law Rpt & Law Jnl. In addition, he runs an independent record label, Metal Postcard Records, which has released music from bands like Cambodian Space Project, White Fang, M. Edwards & The Unfortunates, Origami Horses, dreamherbs, and many others.
