I was involved in various strategic areas: Customer centricity, Emerging segments and emerging markets, country strategies etc. I facilitated and drove the corporate strategy process, including new ways of engaging top management with strong results in terms of idea generation, alignment & commitment. I supported a major re-organsation and downsizing process globally for Group Finance.

I lead a small team assisting Executive Management with various strategy related projects, including establishing and driving the corporate strategy process, facilitating executive workshops, writing strategy white papers for BoD, establish corportate strategy map and strategic KPIs & BU scorecards.

I was tasked to establish the “State of Affairs” – the executive leadership tool for performance management and for driving focus across Vestas. I participated in multiple other activities including new product feasibility study, driving corporate strategy theme reports, coordinating BU Strategy papers & overall KPIs, re-starting cash flow reporting, designing and establishing numerous reporting elements (also reporting to financiers).

I was part of post-merger team that facilitated the combination of Vestas & NEG Micon (assisting Executive Management under the leadership of deputy CEO). The team was manned with 4 internal high performers and 4 McKinsey consultants. My focus was on Sales and Service, new product programme, organisation, pricing etc.

Established a department that was tasked to initiate a number of global strategic projects within the After Sales Division. The department dealt with training of service engineers world wide, documentation, “service-friendliness” of new wind turbines, QSE. In parallel, I facilitated design of global After Sales Division strategy and follow-up on implementation hereof. I also facilitated various projects, company- and department strategies (including “What are we here for”) etc. As a seperate role, I was the Process Leader on Project Training programme for After Sales.

Head of Customer Service Performance Support

Participated in, or managed the completion agreements on a number of troublesome turbine delivery projects in USA with direct responsibility towards the customers. In less than 18 months we completed all troublesome projects through product optimisations and legal negotiations – within budget.

Process team leader & Project manager for ”Win 2000”, our BPR-project that ran for approx. two years. Included establishing a Project office for project portfolio management in cooperation with external consultants.

I took various roles: A) Post Merger planning and execution, B) participating in acquiring 3 companies - with responsibilities for establishing business plans and integrating the companies regarding organisation & IT, C) Project manager for IT integration (Lotus Notes & Concorde XAL) of our Spanish and American subsidiaries, D) Coordinator of the corporate strategy process.

Manager of IT department as well as designer in Navision (MRP and finance). With reference to Executive managemen I finished the implementation of the MRP-system. Going into the merger with Micon, I participated in some of the early planning of the merger (mainly organisation and IT / processes), as well as executing the consolidation of IT infrastructure etc.
