Bettine Schmitz is a seasoned professional with a rich background in Venture Capital, Angel Investing, product management, and consulting. With over 8 years in VC and Angel Investing, 3+ years in product management, and 4 years in consulting, Bettine brings a wealth of experience to the table.

Her passion for Venture Capital and supporting Female Founders is evident in her work. Bettine is particularly interested in working with female founders who are looking to raise capital from VCs.

Bettine Schmitz holds a BSc in Mathematics with a 2:1 from Imperial College London. She further pursued her education by obtaining a Master's degree in European Business with Distinction from ESCP Europe.

Throughout her career, Bettine has held various key roles in esteemed organizations. She currently serves as a Partner and Founder at Auxxo Female Catalyst Fund, a role that aligns with her focus on supporting female entrepreneurs. Previously, Bettine has been involved in business angel activities, including holding active board and advisory roles at Self-Employed. She has also served as Vice President at Axel Springer Plug and Play Accelerator, showcasing her leadership capabilities.

Prior to her current roles, Bettine Schmitz has been associated with Axel Springer SE, where she held positions such as Founder of Shopnow, Intrapreneur, Strategic Product Development, and Product Manager for Premium Products BILD. Her strategic insights and product expertise have been honed through these ventures.

Before her tenure at Axel Springer SE, Bettine gained valuable consulting experience at OC&C Strategy Consultants as both a Consultant and an Associate Consultant. She also started her professional journey as a Trainee Research Executive at Breaking Blue, formerly RS Consulting, demonstrating her commitment to continuous growth and learning.
