Beth Schmidt

Beth Schmidt is the Director of Education at Emerson Collective, a position where she leads education initiatives to improve student outcomes and drive broader social justice efforts.

In addition to her role at Emerson Collective, Beth is the Founder and Executive Chairman of Wishbone.org, a non-profit organization focused on providing low-income students access to quality summer programs.

Beth is a former Teach for America Corps Member with educational qualifications including a BA in English and French from Middlebury College and a Masters in Secondary Education from Loyola Marymount University.

She has been recognized for her contributions to education and social innovation, with accolades such as being named twice on Forbes' '30 Under 30' list, a Kauffman Labs Education Ventures Fellow, a Draper Richards Kaplan Entrepreneur, and a Bluhm/ Helfand Social Innovation Fellow.
