Beth Osborne

Beth Osborne is a seasoned professional with a diverse background in public affairs, government relations, and advocacy. She currently holds the position of Director of Local Public Affairs at Symetra, a financial services company, where she leads engagement with the local community. Prior to this role, Beth directed state outreach efforts for U.S. Senator Patty Murray from 2016 to 2019, honing her skills in community partnerships, coalition building, advocacy, strategic planning, and issue management. Between 2012 and 2016, she managed the federal government relations program at the Port of Seattle, specializing in aviation, seaports, infrastructure, environment, and economic development policy. With her experience as Deputy Chief of Staff in the Washington, DC Office of U.S. Representative Jay Inslee, Beth gained expertise in energy and commerce policy, particularly in initiatives aimed at addressing climate change. Beth holds a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Communications from Boston College.
