Besan AbdelQader

Besan AbdelQader is a dedicated Youth and Adolescent Development Specialist with 15 years of experience in UNICEF, focusing on adolescents and youth development, engagement, and empowerment in Jordan and the MENA region.

Besan began as a volunteer in youth programs, progressing to become a specialist, demonstrating expertise in youth development, public policies, advocacy, and public-private partnerships.

She has extensive experience working with UNICEF, civil society organizations, the private sector, academia, youth-led organizations, and media, championing youth rights at regional and national levels.

Her leadership in adolescent and youth meaningful engagement includes skills development, volunteering, social innovation, and entrepreneurship programs.

Besan holds an MBA from German Jordanian University, a B.Sc. in Business Administration from Al-Ahliyya Amman Private University, and a Master's degree in Human Services from Walden University.
