Bert Van Vreckem

Bert Van Vreckem is a Lecturer in ICT at University College Ghent and CVO Panta Rhei, with a strong passion for teaching Linux System Administration and programming. Alongside his technical expertise in Ansible, Vagrant, Configuration Management, and Infrastructure as Code, he also enjoys delving into Test Driven Infrastructure, Git, and CentOS. Despite his professional accomplishments, Bert's most significant role to date is being a devoted father to three children. With an academic background that includes a Master's degree in Computer Science from Vrije Universiteit Brussel and a Secondary Education degree in Latin/Sciences from Sint-Aloysiuscollege Ninove, Bert brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to his current role. His commitment to enhancing the learning experience extends to public speaking engagements and tailored courses in various IT-related subjects.
