Bert Bruggeman

Bert Bruggeman is an accomplished executive with more than 25 years of experience in the semiconductor, solar, electronics, and automotive industry. He holds a master's and bachelor's degree in electrical and electronics engineering from KU Leuven. Bruggeman has held several leadership positions in renowned companies, including VP Operations and General Manager at SVTC Technologies, VP Automotive Manufacturing at Tesla, and Vice President of Solar Wafering Manufacturing at SunEdison. He is also the Chairman of the Board at The Ocean Cleanup and has served as a mentor at the Miller Center for Social Entrepreneurship at Santa Clara University. With his dynamic leadership style and solutions-oriented approach to problem-solving, Bruggeman has led teams in innovating, commercializing, and scaling high-tech technologies that have positively impacted people's lives, sustainable development goals, and a healthy planet.
