Bernhard Rannegger

Bernhard Rannegger is the Head of Sustainability Solutions at Swiss Re, a position he has held since May 2022.1 He is a sustainability and climate tech leader and advisor based in Zurich, Switzerland.1 Rannegger focuses on bringing actionable sustainability and climate risk insights to Swiss Re's corporate clients.2 He leads the sustainability product area of Swiss Re's Risk Data Services.2

Rannegger is from Austria and holds a degree in Business Administration from the University of St. Gallen.2 He also attended Yale School of Management for Executive Education in Corporate Sustainability Management.2 Additionally, he has a Micro Master in Artificial Intelligence from Columbia University.1

During his time at Swiss Re, Bernhard has developed analytic solutions for global insurance companies, driven the development of new advanced analytic offerings in EMEA, and led the implementation of high priority strategic data and analytics initiatives.2 He has a strong understanding of data and analytics-driven innovation and end-to-end data product development, combined with a holistic understanding of corporate sustainability challenges and respective solutions.2
