Bonera is a brazilian startup focused solely on social media games. Being employee number #6 and the first designer onboard, I was responsible for some major decisions alongside our product champion.I had to deal with various stakeholders, user interviews, documenting processes and, finally, be the bridge between visual artists, designers and engineers. Our first game, called "Liga das Torcidas" had almost 100.000 players subscribed.

This was the place I had my first contact with mobile app design – iOS and Android – and the opportunity to dealt with many devices and their painful restrictions. Fortunately, I was able to overcome such huge limitations with creative solutions that improved my design abilities beyond my own expectations. It was a challange to work for the biggest Mobile Ad Network in Latin America, but I'm really proud of the results we achieved.We were a small team back then, so we all have to be competent in more than one role. I'm very proud to have worked here, one of the greatest multidisciplinary design companies in Brazil. My mission was to take an offline campaign and bring it to the online world. They taught me about design strategy, print processes, branding and tough deadlines. I gave them UI design, hotsites, intranets, SEO and some HTML/CSS. This place means a lot to me because I've learned how important is to see the big picture but don't underestimate the tiny details that make something looks (and feels) great in the end.
