Security Management
Bernard Mcpherson, a former Command Sergeant Major of the US Army with over 30 years of experience, is a highly accomplished security and law enforcement professional. Throughout his extensive career, he has played a leadership role in organizations containing from 30 to over 5100 personnel, spanning city to worldwide operations. Bernard's expertise lies in security operations, strategic planning and initiatives, and inter-agency experience, working with local, state, federal, and international agencies in police operations, security, police intelligence, criminal investigations, emergency management, anti-terrorism, force protection, and personal protection.
As the Training and Doctrine Command Provost Sergeant Major, Bernard was a subject matter expert on law enforcement, physical security, force protection, military police schools, force structure, and enlisted military police issues. He updated and promulgated several classified US government operations and continuity of operations plans, and served as the senior Enlisted Police Advisor and policy subject matter expert to the Commander of the 18th Military Police Brigade.
Bernard has a Bachelor's degree in Liberal Arts and Sciences/Liberal Studies from Excelsior College, studied Political Science and Government at South Carolina State University, and studied for a Master's Degree in Business Organization and Security Management at Webster University NCR. Previously, he worked as a Site Supervisor and Project Manager at OMNIPLEX World Services Corporation and a Human Resource/Security Professional as a self-employed individual.
