Berman, Richard

Richard Berman is a highly accomplished professional with a diverse academic background. He holds a Master of Public Health (MPH) in Health/Health Care Administration/Management, a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Business, Management, Marketing, and Related Support Services, and a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in Business Administration and Management, all from the University of Michigan.

Richard's career has been marked by numerous senior leadership roles and significant contributions to various organizations. He currently serves as the Associate Vice President for Strategic Initiatives, Research and Innovation at the University of South Florida. Previously, he held positions such as Visiting Professor of Social Entrepreneurship, Interim Dean, and Interim Director at the Patel College of Global Sustainability at the same institution.

Beyond his tenure at the University of South Florida, Richard has garnered extensive experience in different capacities. He served as an Entrepreneur in Residence at GaTech, founded and led licas as Founder and CEO, and held executive positions at institutions like Manhattanville College, Howe-Lewis International, and Korn/Ferry International.

Richard's professional journey also includes stints as a Management Consultant at McKinsey & Company, Executive Vice President at NYU Langone Medical Center, Commissioner of Housing and Community Renewal, and Director of the Office of Health Systems Management in the state of New York.
