    Berk Calli is a robotics researcher specializing in visual feedback systems and coping with uncertainties in unstructured environments. His work focuses on vision-based techniques, advanced control methods, active vision framework, tactile sensing, machine learning, and intelligent mechanical design to enhance robotic manipulation's robustness and efficiency in unknown environments.

    As the main coordinator of the Yale-CMU-Berkeley (YCB) Object and Model Set project, Berk facilitates global benchmarking efforts in robotic manipulation. The project provides data sets for systematic evaluation in various aspects of robotic manipulation to enhance performance in grasping, manipulation, and object recognition.

    He holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in BioMechanical Engineering from Delft University of Technology, a Master of Science (M.S.) in Mechanical Engineering, and a Bachelor's degree in Mechatronics Engineering from Sabancı Üniversitesi. Berk Calli has held positions as an Assistant Professor at Worcester Polytechnic Institute, a Postdoctoral Associate at Yale University, and a Researcher at Sabanci University.
