Benoît Maubrey is the director of DIE AUDIO GRUPPE, an art group based in Berlin focusing on creating mobile and non-mobile sculptures in public spaces.

Their non-mobile sculptures are crafted from recycled electronics and loudspeakers, providing an interactive experience for the public through microphones, smartphones, and Bluetooth receivers.

On the other hand, the mobile sculptures are essentially electro-acoustic clothes and dresses that generate sounds by thematically and acoustically engaging with their surroundings.

Benoît Maubrey has led various iconic projects like the construction of monumental interactive sculptures incorporating up to 3000 connected speakers in shapes such as temples, obelisks, arenas, gates, and walls, all producing unique sound experiences for onlookers.

One notable project includes 'TEMPLE' exhibited in Germany, where visitors were immersed in white noise from radio receivers and human voices, with the opportunity for public interaction by calling a designated phone number to have their voices played through the myriad of speakers.
