Benny Tjia

Benny Tjia is an experienced tech investor and venture builder with a strong background in the tech industry. He has over 10 years of experience and has spent time working in Silicon Valley and in Southeast Asia. Currently serving as the Managing Director at Quantum Ventures, Tjia is focused on driving efficiencies, financial inclusion, and sustainability through investments in renewable energy, electric vehicles, logistics, and fintech sectors in Indonesia. He holds a Master's degree in Finance and Economics from Harvard University and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from the University of Michigan, among other qualifications.

Tjia has previously served as the CEO and co-founder of Bornevia, an Entrepreneur in Residence and Mentor for the Global Entrepreneurship Program Indonesia (GEPI), and a Senior Software Engineer at Microsoft. His expertise includes venture capital, entrepreneurship, software engineering, and sustainable energy, among others.
