Benjamin Wolba is a forward-thinking individual who earned his Ph.D. in theoretical physics at just 24 years old. Apart from his academic achievements, he established Visual Ink Publishing and runs a blog, www.future-of-computing.com, where he engages with startup founders and industry experts. Benjamin's expertise extends to investment as he currently serves as a Venture Partner at Lunar Ventures, focusing on deep-tech startups revolutionizing computing.
With a educational background comprising a Master's Degree in Physics from Technische Universität Dresden, a research period in Physics at UNSW Australia, and a Bachelor's Degree in Physics from Technische Universität Dresden, Benjamin has a strong foundation in the field.
Benjamin's professional journey includes roles such as a Venture Capital Associate at Lunar Ventures and being a part of organizations like 2hearts, Entrepreneur First Berlin, and Entrepreneur First. Prior to this, he pursued his Ph.D. in Physics at the University of Karlsruhe and Technische Universität Dresden.
Passionate about innovative technologies, Benjamin primarily invests in computer science moonshots at Lunar Ventures, concentrating on areas like cryptography, machine learning, databases, and developer tools, with investments typically ranging from 0.5 to 1.5 million at the pre-seed/seed stage.
