Benjamin Stern
Benjamin Stern, a young and innovative entrepreneur from Melbourne, Florida, made headlines when he appeared on the popular TV show, Shark Tank. With his eco-friendly podded shampoo company, Nohbo, he secured a deal with Mark Cuban and went on to shake up the personal care industry.
Ben's story began in a high school biology class where he was inspired by a documentary on plastic pollution. From there, he established himself as a Thiel Fellow and worked various jobs, including cashier and everything man at Jersey Mike's Subs, to raise funds for his venture.
After bringing in a team of chemists to develop the world's first single-use water-soluble pods for personal care products, Ben was awarded a Young Entrepreneur Award by the former governor of Florida, Rick Scott. Today, as the head honcho of Nohbo, Ben is leading the charge toward a plastic-free future.
