Benjamin Ling

Benjamin Ling is the Founding General Partner at Bling Capital, a venture capital firm he established in 2018. He has an extensive background in the tech industry, having previously served as a General Partner at Khosla Ventures, where he focused on investments in consumer, internet, mobile, and SaaS sectors. Throughout his career, Ling has backed numerous successful companies, including 19 unicorns such as Square, Palantir, and Gusto.123

Before venturing into capital investment, Ling held senior positions at major tech companies. At Google, he was the Senior Director of Search and Local Business Products, overseeing services like Google Images and Google Shopping. He also worked at YouTube as the Senior Director of Partnerships and Platform, and at Facebook, where he was the first director of the Facebook platform, contributing to the development of Facebook Connect.23

Ling holds a B.S. in Electrical Engineering & Computer Science from UC Berkeley and both an M.S. and PhD in Computer Science from Stanford University. He has received accolades such as the Bechtel Achievement Award from UC Berkeley and is recognized as a Department of Defense fellow.2
