Benjamin Leduc-Mills

Benjamin Leduc-Mills is a highly skilled professional who thrives at the intersection of user experience, design, and engineering.

Currently, he serves as a Senior Experience Design Researcher at Autodesk within the platform services and components group, where he specializes in researching the developer experience, API design, platform usability principles, and analytics maturity.

Prior to his role at Autodesk, Benjamin was part of Google's ATAP team as a software prototyper and user researcher for project Soli. He also worked as an R&D Swiss Army Knife at SparkFun Electronics.

Benjamin holds a Ph.D. in Computer Science from the University of Colorado, Boulder, focusing on human-computer interaction to make computation and construction accessible, practical, sustainable, and enjoyable for beginners from all backgrounds.

Additionally, he obtained a master's degree from the Interactive Telecommunications Program (ITP) at NYU, where he developed various physical computing projects.

His educational background includes a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Computer Science from the University of Colorado Boulder, an M.P.S. from the Interactive Telecommunications Program (ITP) at New York University, and a B.A. in Philosophy and Legal Studies from the University of California, Santa Cruz, along with studying abroad in Philosophy at The University of Sheffield.
