Benjamin Kroeger
Postdoctoral Research Fellow in Kieran Harvey's lab at Monash University / Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre
Benjamin Kroeger is a highly motivated postdoctoral researcher with a focus on understanding the molecular mechanisms controlling cell growth and organization, particularly in the context of the Hippo signalling pathway.
Currently working in Prof Kieran Harvey's lab at Monash University, Benjamin's research delves into the Hippo pathway's role in organ size regulation and its implications in various human cancers.
His work involves utilizing advanced microscopic and biophysical techniques to gain new insights into the Hippo pathway in both human cancer cells and Drosophila.
With a strong educational background, Benjamin holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Cell Biology and Genetics from the University of Oxford, an MSci in Biological Sciences with First Class Honors from UCL, and has studied Biological Sciences as part of an International Programme at the University of Sydney.
His major interests lie in cell signaling, transcription, cell biology, developmental biology, microscopy, and genetics, reflecting his versatile expertise in these areas.
