Benjamin Avery is a dedicated professional working towards accelerating the energy transition to clean renewable energy technologies with a primary focus on project management for solar PV, battery storage, and off-grid hybrid systems.

Beyond his professional endeavors, Benjamin finds joy in exploring different cultures through travel and connecting with diverse individuals. He is an enthusiastic swimmer and runner, always seeking opportunities to engage with the outdoors.

Originally hailing from Maine, U.S., Benjamin has lived in various countries and holds an impressive educational background. He completed his Master of Science in Renewable Energy Engineering and Management at The University of Freiburg and obtained a Bachelor of Science in Economics with a minor in Environmental Science from American University.

Benjamin's educational journey also includes a Semester Study Program in Tropical Island Ecology & Conservation in Bocas del Toro, Panama at The School for Field Studies. He completed his high school education at GEORGE STEVENS ACADEMY and participated in a one-year high school exchange program in Brazil through AFS.

Professionally, Benjamin has held key roles in reputable organizations. He currently serves as a Project Manager at BayWa r.e. renewable energy GmbH. Previously, he worked as a Business Development Manager at Industrial Solar GmbH and held project management positions at juwi Renewable Energies (Pty) Ltd (South Africa) and juwi AG. He also served as a Portuguese Tutor at American University and gained valuable experience as an intern at various organizations including Entrepreneurs' Organization and the U.S. Department of State.
