Benedita Nunes

Benedita Sampaio Nunes is a lawyer-linguist and co-founder of Cross Legal. She was raised in Brussels and completed her law degree at the Faculty of Law of Universidade Católica Portuguesa in 2011.1 Benedita earned an LLM with Distinction from the London School of Economics and Political Science, focusing on international commercial arbitration, intellectual property, cyberlaw, and corporate finance.1

Her professional experience includes:

1. Working in the litigation and arbitration team at Morais Leitão, a top-tier Portuguese law firm1
2. Co-founding Team Genesis, a specialized team advising emerging companies1
3. Working as an independent advisor since 20161
4. Serving as an arbitral tribunal secretary with Prof. Dr. Jan Kleinheisterkamp since 20191
5. Acting as the Director of Impact and Legal Affairs for Slowness, a German hospitality group, since 202112

Benedita is admitted to the Portuguese Bar Association and has been registered as a lawyer since 2015.1 She works fluently in Portuguese, English, and French.1
