Benedikt Linse

Dr. Benedikt Linse is a Staff Solutions Architect at Confluent, a position he has held since December 2018.12 With a strong background in computer science, he holds both a Diploma and a PhD in the field.3

In his current role, Benedikt serves as a consultant for the Confluent Platform and Confluent Cloud, focusing on:

• Technical leadership in customer projects
• Architecture and security workshops
• Health checks and multi-data-center workshops
• Conference presentations
• Event stream processing and complex event processing
• Data integration with Kafka Connect
• Cloud migrations and microservice architectures1

Benedikt's academic background includes research on query languages, data integration, semantic web, and web crawling. He has also lectured on XML query languages, semantic web, and logic programming.2
