We are a group of young activists and entrepreneurs working to change this by 2026. Our mission is to increase and improve the outcomes of giving to education so that all children may have the resources to thrive.

The International Commission on Financing Global Education Opportunity (The Education Commission) is a major new global initiative engaging world leaders, policy makers, and researchers to develop a renewed and compelling investment case and financing pathway for achieving equal educational opportunity for children and young people. The Education Commission is bringing together the best research and policy analysis on the actions necessary to increase investment in concrete, relevant learning outcomes that have a positive impact on economic and social development.

The Commission is co-convened by Prime Minister Erna Solberg of Norway, President Michelle Bachelet of Chile, President Joko Widodo of Indonesia, President Peter Mutharika of Malawi, and the Director-General of UNESCO Irina Bokova. UN Special Envoy for Global Education Gordon Brown serves as Chair. The Commission comprises high-level individuals representing diverse geographical and disciplinary backgrounds. -  Advance the Learning Generation Agenda for Action via social media and strategic partnerships.
-  Contributed the perspective of young people to the Commission’s work by hosting consultation sessions, and providing logistical and editorial leadership of the Global Youth Call to Action.
-  Participated in the Spring 2016 Commission meeting at the World Bank, virtual consultation sessions with the Commission team, and the Learning Generation launch at the United Nations.
-  Promoted the Education Youth Video Challenge to mobilize youth on every continent and served as a jury member to select the winning videos that were shown at the United Nations.
